About Build with Brainyl

If you’ve ever tried to keep up with DevOps or cloud trends, you know the feeling — endless documentation, shifting best practices, and now a wave of AI tools that promise to change everything. When I moved from software engineering into DevOps, I remember that constant question: what actually matters?

It wasn’t about learning faster; it was about learning smarter — separating noise from insight, theory from application.

Why This Platform Exists

I created Build with Brainyl as a space to share what really works — practical cloud engineering blended with the emerging world of AI and agentic automation. Everything here comes from the field: tested systems, post-mortems, and experiments that move ideas from whiteboard to production.

The goal is simple: help engineers and builders ship faster, think clearer, and stay grounded in real-world results.

What You’ll Find

  • Build Journals — notes from live projects in cloud, automation, and AI, including the mistakes that taught the most.
  • Deep Dives — story-driven explainers that unpack architecture choices and trade-offs.
  • Playbooks & Templates — reusable Terraform, CI/CD, and AWS patterns you can drop into your own stack.
  • Community Highlights — spotlights and ideas from other builders on the same path.

Everything is written for clarity, not clicks. If it doesn’t survive in production, it doesn’t get published.

Cloud × AI × Automation — Together

The next generation of builders will bridge infrastructure, intelligence, and automation seamlessly. Here, you’ll learn how to:

  • Use AWS-native services as the backbone for agentic and AI-driven workflows.
  • Pair observability and governance with rapid experimentation.
  • Ship new features confidently using secure, repeatable patterns.

Meet Kelvin

I’m Kelvin Igbineweka — a software engineer turned DevOps leader with a Master’s in Computer Science and 12 AWS certifications.

Over the last decade, I’ve:

  • Led multi-account AWS programs across several startups and multiple organizations.
  • Migrated high-volume platforms to managed cloud services while reducing cost and complexity.
  • Built resilient, autoscaling systems across containers, serverless, and batch workloads.
  • Shared what I learn through hands-on tutorials and live technical sessions that help engineers apply cloud and AI concepts with confidence.

Everything I share comes from lessons earned — real builds, real systems, real outcomes.
